Welcome to the North Texas Critical Communications Group

Our mission is to educate and empower our communities in disaster preparedness and emergency communications through community based education and training.

At the North Texas Critical Communications Group, we are dedicated to improving emergency communications and disaster preparedness. Aligned with our mission, our goal is to empower communities, first responders, and organizations with the tools and knowledge they need to respond effectively during critical situations.

CERT Training

CERT Training at Bryan Adams High School Dallas, TX

We offer Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training and preparedness activities. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may occur where they live. CERT trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as: Fire safety, Light search and rescue, Team organization, and Disaster medical operations. The CERT program offers a consistent, nationwide approach to volunteer training and organization that professional responders can rely on during disaster situations, allowing them to focus on more complex tasks.

NIMS Training

We provide National Incident Management System training to communities and organizations of all sizes. The National Incident Management System (NIMS) guides all levels of government, nongovernmental organizations, and the private sector to work together to prevent, protect against, mitigate, respond to and recover from incidents.

NIMS provides stakeholders across the whole community with the shared vocabulary, systems and processes to successfully deliver the capabilities described in the National Preparedness System. NIMS defines operational systems that guide how personnel work together during incidents.
